Desert Ridge

Grandma Kathryn & Papa George took us all to a resort in Scottsdale for the 4th of July weekend. We all had fun playing in the pools ALL day long.
Here we are going out to eat one night.

This picture is hilarious! I think some one had a little bit too much fun in the sun!

This picture was taken at about 3:00 am. To make a long story short, the ac broke in our room. The boys slept through it, but Brinks and I partied it up in another room that was a cool 72 degrees.

My baby is 1!

Can't I just freeze time? You know your getting old when time begins to fly by. Our last baby(yes its official) is not a baby anymore. She is now a toddler. This was our last 1 year old birthday party & our first girl party...so we had FUN. (beware picture overload) Here is the b-day girl & a banner I made.....yes it all matches her dress. Her dress was the party inspiration.

I had left over scrap book paper from the banner. I didn't want it to go to waste, so Carter & I wrapped the paper around our water bottles.

Here are my leopard cupcakes...marshmallow fondant is hard. I don't recommend trying to do it 3 hours before the party.

Brinks has been such a blessing in our lives. We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for all our healthy kids. It is has been so fun to experience a baby girl. She is really sweet & loves her brothers. She has started to walk and she is always happy. She is not a picky eater and loves to eat anything & everything...as long as its not baby food. She also loves to dance & wave. We love you Brinks!

Caleb's 1st Swim Meet

Caleb has been going to swim team this year with his friends Jedidiah & Colin. He goes every morning(thank goodness for car pools) and has swim meets on Saturdays. Here are some pics of his first swim meet:Waiting their turn in line, go gators!

Brody is 2!

On May 10th, 2009, Brody George turned 2 years old (and so did his cuz JD.) We had a combined swim party for the both of them at our house. Poor little man, he wasn't very happy at all, this picture is priceless. He was thinking where are the candles?? Some how we forgot to buy candles....we will have to make it up to him next year!

Brody is our crazy man. He loves his blanket and his passy. His favorite show to watch is America's Funniest Home Videos. He is our little eater, he will eat anything & then eat some more. I call him Layne's little shadow...he just loves his daddy. He loves to give hugs & his favorite movie is Kung Fu Panda...he loves to wrestle and fight. I love my Brody bunches!!

Easter 2009

Yes, I am STILL alive. I have been slacking, and its been kind of nice. No camera, no software=no BLOGGING. But, there is good news. Layne gave me his "business" camera to use, so now we just need to find the software for that one. Hopefully, that will get me motivated to start blogging again. Sometimes there is just not enough time for everything good. But that is a whole different story. Caleb is 6!

On Feb. 4th our first baby boy turned 6! Caleb started the day off with his favorite breakfast:

Home made Oatmeal Pancakes & Buttermilk Syrup He went to school & brought in Krispy Kreme Donuts to share. Yum...and of course I gobbled down all the left over doughnuts. Then Layne picked him up & took him to lunch. Caleb could go where ever he wanted & he picked Amazing Jake's.
A couple of days later, we had a birthday party for him at Bounce-U with all of his friends. That place is a blast...the kids loved it & got lots of their energy out, so we LOVED it too.

I took Brody down one of the slides & MAN it was a work out climbing up that thing, sheesh! But so FUN to slide down!

Brody loved it so much, he decided to go up & down all by himself. Here is a picture of him wiping out...don't worry he was okay!

The birthday boy & his Spongebob cake, yes I said Spongebob, blue frosting and all. Maybe next year I will attempt to make him a cake and not wait until the night before to go buy it! Thanks WalMart for your cake making skills!

Caleb has blessed our lives SO much! He is so sweet and loves to share. He always thinks of others...and loves to play with friends. As I think back on the 6 years we have had him, I can't help but think of how much I have grown, as a mom, and as a person. He has made me better....and continues to make me want to be better. Thank goodness for my SWEET CALEB!!
