New School Year

The boys were soooo excited to start school this year! They had picked out their own backpacks, and I had set out their cutest outfits. Carter was so proud to go to the "big boy school" like his brother Caleb. Here is Carter sporting his "k" for kindergarten. I can't believe my two boys are old enough to be at school all day!
Caleb had the school thing down. He was going to be in second grade and he was ready.
Check out the excitement and in their eyes.
Although I had two in school, I still had these two cute kids to keep me busy.
Brody and Brinkley wanted to get in on the picture action too.

Uncle Scott is Home!

Uncle Scott is home! It was a LONG two years, but we loved writing him on Sunday's.

Peterson Beach Trip 2010

One of our favorite highlights of the year is the annual Peterson beach trip. This one was no exception. I did not take very many pictures. I had just gotten a nice, new camera and was afraid to use it. But, here are the few I did take:

Lego Land 2010

This year before our annual beach trip with the Peterson cousins, our little family went up a couple days early. We stayed in a trailer in a really nice trailer park. Yes, a nice trailer park really does exist, in Newport Beach, Layne assured me many times. We had a lot of fun. We took the kids to LegoLand. I forgot my camera, but here are some that Layne snapped with his phone.

Bathing Beauties

Every family needs to have a "bath tub picture". Here are my four sweet babies. Life sure is busy with them....and there usually is a lot of water on the ground after we are done. But, they sure make my life worth living!

Easter 2010

I love Easter time; general conference, the flowers, Easter candy. Yum. This year we had a family Easter Egg Hunt at the Stauffer's. Here are some pictures of the hunt:The kids not sure what to do.
The spectator

But, they soon got a hang of it.

Thanks Grandma for inviting us over!

Spring Break

For Spring Break we headed up North with the Peterson's to Pinetop. Papa George rented a cabin for us all to stay and play in. Here is a big group picture, minus Amy & I. One day we went sledding down an enormous, snow covered hill. It even started snowing on us, the kids first time being in a snow storm. After sledding we drove to this quaint, little cafe. It had the most delicious food and even better atmosphere. We sat there and gobbled up our homemade meals while the snow silently fell to the ground outside the window.

When the kids weren't playing outside in the snow, we kept them busy with marshmallow crafts, movies, hot chocolate, and even a fun St. Patrick's day meal.

Thank you to the Peterson's, we made memories we will never forget!
