Okay...so sorry everyone. I have not updated my blog in SO LONG. We had a virus on our computer & had to totally wipe it clean. Caleb is 6!

On Feb. 4th our first baby boy turned 6! Caleb started the day off with his favorite breakfast:
Home made Oatmeal Pancakes & Buttermilk Syrup He went to school & brought in Krispy Kreme Donuts to share. Yum...and of course I gobbled down all the left over doughnuts. Then Layne picked him up & took him to lunch. Caleb could go where ever he wanted & he picked Amazing Jake's.
A couple of days later, we had a birthday party for him at Bounce-U with all of his friends. That place is a blast...the kids loved it & got lots of their energy out, so we LOVED it too.

Thanks mom & padre for helping with Brinks.
Dizz playing with the cars.

Wooowooo...look who it is...its Steph & Frank!

That is exactly how I felt too Ryan!

I took Brody down one of the slides & MAN it was a work out climbing up that thing, sheesh! But so FUN to slide down!

Brody loved it so much, he decided to go up & down all by himself. Here is a picture of him wiping out...don't worry he was okay!
The birthday boy & his Spongebob cake, yes I said Spongebob, blue frosting and all. Maybe next year I will attempt to make him a cake and not wait until the night before to go buy it! Thanks WalMart for your cake making skills!

Caleb has blessed our lives SO much! He is so sweet and loves to share. He always thinks of others...and loves to play with friends. As I think back on the 6 years we have had him, I can't help but think of how much I have grown, as a mom, and as a person. He has made me better....and continues to make me want to be better. Thank goodness for my SWEET CALEB!!

Brotherly Love

One of the things I LOVE about having four kids is watching them interact. The boys are so sweet to their little sista and here is the proof. Carter loves to take Brinks for rides around the kitchen island and she can't get enough.
Brinks was crying & Caleb picked her up & held her while he was playing the DS. I grabbed my camera and snapped this shot:

Darn...these photos are out of order...but what can you do??? Brody likes to WAKE Brinks up from her naps...now that is enough to make me go bonkers. But look how stinkin cute she is...those eyes are just screamin "Pick me up!"

Here she is thinking, "Yeah my rescuer!"

We LOVE BROTHERS!

Christmas 2008

The boys were really good this year because Santa spoiled them! They woke up around 6:30 am & ran down stairs before Layne & I were ready. As Layne & I bounded down the stairs to catch up, the first thing Caleb did was look under the tree for a present for each of us. Grandma Terol had taken them shopping to buy us gifts. Both Caleb & Carter got to pick out their very own presents for us. Grandma told them to keep it a secret. But, the first thing Carter told me when he walked through the door was, "Mom, guess what? I got you a candle??!!" and sure enough that's what I got! We opened presents, then went to G&G Stauffer's & opened a lot more. We all got to talk to Uncle Scott, too. Brody was playing with the phone & had left it off the hook when Elder Stauffer was supposed to be calling. We were so scared we missed his call, mom started crying as soon as she heard his voice. Brody loves those phones!

We headed over to the Peterson's afterwards for round #3. There are no pictures because I forgot my camera. Santa surprised G. Kathryn with a new car...that was a fun gift!

Christmas Eve

Here is my favorite pic of the night. Do you think they are excited?

Christmas Eve

Okay...just ignore the placing of this pic...it is supposed to be some where in the middle. I am loosing my brain, lol!
We had Christmas Eve dinner over at my parent's house this year. Here is the table o' fun: Steph & Frank & Dizz

Mom(the scrumptious cook) & Brinks, and yes her face is stained orange from her dinner of carrots, yum!
Ryan was entertaining the boys while the adults ate & enjoyed some quiet. My boys LOVE Uncle Rye-Rye, can you see why? My mom had a box of over 1,000 straws...and guess who got in to them?

Ryan was also getting his work out throwing Caleb on my parents bed.

Layne & Brinks, see I did wipe her face off eventually.

After we ate at my parents, we stopped by the Peterson's. Here are the Peterson men trying to get the movie to play....

Sweet Gran Marie & Layne

Everyone watching Transformers on Blue Ray...we can't wait until Santa comes!
