GIRL!!!!! (yep you read it right)

Hip-hip-hooray!!! Layne is still in shock....& quite frankly, so am I! What are we going to do with a girl?? I can't wait to buy something PINK!!

My sweet Caleb woke up last night crying because his tooth hurt. So today we took a trip to the good 'ol dentist office. Wouldn't ya know he needs 2 crowns & 1 filling. Poor little guy!! He has my horrible teeth...I have horror stories about going to the dentist when I was younger...can you say 8 cavities at one time? Yep, that was me!

But, I about died when I looked at the bill, it was close to a $1000!! How did my parents ever pay for it all?? Man those dentists make lots of money! Can anyone say dental insurance? No but really, does any one know any info about getting dental insurance?

PS-I haven't found out what I am having....that will be my next post on Monday....I think its going to be a boy & I am okay with that!

Random Blurbs

Thank you to all my sweet friends for your comments...I am happy to say Brody has been sleeping through the night(knock on wood). Hallelujah! Layne didn't buy me a mini-van....we are going to stick with our Tahoe for now. But on to other things.... My mom is selling kits to make these cute blocks. They are $4.00 & that includes 3 wood blocks(unpainted) & the vinyl stickers to go on them. I think it would be so fun to have a sisters night/girls night out & make some cute, cheap V-day decorations. You can modge podge them, or even hang ribbon on them. Brody has started to pull himself up on things. Here is the first time he pulled him self up on his fav. toy Santa brought him.
We have been house sitting this cute boxer puppy, King Louie. My boys love him...I am not much of a dog person....but I am warming up! (close your mouths Andy & Steph)

Last of all, we will be hosting a Love and Logic parenting class at our house in March. Sheila Toolson is the instructor & she is amazing! We have taken a Love & Logic course already & have learned so much. I would definitely recommend it to all my friends! At my witts end

This is me (okay not really, but you get the drift). Brody is the WORST SLEEPER IN THE WORLD! All my friend's who have babies who sleep through the night...don't say a word....let me tell you I am soo jealous!

Brody is now 8 months & we decided it was time to teach him to sleep through the night(since he obviously won't do it on his own). The only thing he is learning is how to cry for LONG periods of time. Two nights ago he cried from 2:00 am-4:30 am. No joke, no exaggerations here!! Don't think I am a rude mom, I go into his room many times & try to comfort him, to no avail. I have all the books & phamplets about sleeping...and this is my third child, right???

Then last night, I thought okay he is teething so I won't let him cry it out. Guess what happened??? He woke up EVERY hour & guess who got up with him every time??!!! Mind you, I gave him Motrin, then Tylenol & also Orajel PM. What am I to do??? Its a good thing he is so cute & sweet. I will PAY someone to come stay at my house & teach him to sleep...I can't take it!!!! Any takers???? lol

Oh yeah & to top it all off...Layne is "previewing" mini-vans right now....I don't have anything against anyone who drives a mini van....I just don't want to drive one at age 25!! That was my mom's car (no offense mom, I love ya) I just want an Escalade or a Denali, is that too much to ask, lol! Talk about a mid-life crisis!
