Tractors & Trampolines

Lately we have been trying to finish our back yard landscaping. Layne borrowed a tractor from Nate to do some of the work & the boys loved it! They also love jumping on the trampoline. They would stay outside all day long if I would let them!

I'm still alive!

Okay its been weeks since I have updated, these past two weeks have been CRAZY! I have definitely been a zombie, living off of just three hours of sleep. Newborns are alot of hard work, but it is a good thing Brody is so cute! I got really sick, (mastitis) but finally I am feeling like I can actually be a mom of three little boys. I decided to stop nursing, which I still feel bad about, but it just wasn't happening.



This morning Layne went and rode his dirt bike, so when Carter woke up at 5:50 am, I got him some breakfast, turned on a movie & went back to bed. The next thing I know, George (my father-in-law) is at my door to pick the kids up. But I couldn't find the kids ANYWHERE! I started to panic & called Layne in tears, I was really scared. They weren't inside the house, or out back, or out front. So George walked down the street & found my two sweet boys in their pj's, with no shoes on, playing at the neighbors house. I was so mad & embarrassed!!! My sisters sure thought it was funny, maybe some day I will look back and laugh. BUT for now I am feeling like the worst mom ever! I don't know how they got outside because I swear I locked the front door last night!!

Brody's Here!

We are proud to introduce the newest member of our family, Brody George Peterson! He was born on Thursday, May 10th at 12:22 am. He weighed 8 lbs 10 oz and was 20.5 inches long. Stephanie & Rob had their baby, Johnathon Dillon the very next day. It was so fun because our hospital rooms were right next to each other. Brody is such a good baby, last night he slept for four straight hours & I was in heaven! Here are some pictures from the hospital. When Caleb & Carter came to see him for the first time it was so funny because they did not want anything to do with him. They were more interested in looking at the camera to see themselves in the picture. Needless to say they have warmed up to him. Caleb loves to hold him & give him kisses. Carter likes to share his toys with Brody, even though Carter doesn't quite understand he can't throw them at him. We are all trying to adjust to the stressful, yet awesome responsibly of a brand new baby.

Wall Writing

My mom started up a vinyl lettering company, called Wall Writing, & is just trying to get her company going. She made me the CUTEST bumper sticker. We even added some "bling, bling", I love it! If any one wants a cute bumper sticker or a saying for your wall, she has tons of graphics & fonts. Just e-mail her at wallwriting@cox.net. No Baby Yet

I am sad to say that we have not had our baby yet. I got my hopes up two weeks ago when I was dilated to a four. But, I am finally coming to grips with the idea that I might have to wait until my due date, even though my first two were early. I am just trying to be grateful that I am pregnant & figure at least I am getting to sleep through the night right now (kind of). I would like to apologize to all my friends and family if I have been grumpy to them. Poor Layne, I have just let him have it lately, what can I say, its the hormones, right?

Barbie Dee

I have to tell my good friend Barbie (yes she even looks like a Barbie doll) THANK YOU for making us the cutest crib bedding. She is so talented!!! She made a crib bumper & a bed skirt in like 3 days. I could only dream of being that talented, thanks a bunch!

Peace and Quiet

We put the kids to bed early tonight (like before 8:30), wohoo! They were both so tired, now it's time to enjoy the peace & quiet. I have had a really fun past couple of days. I went shopping with my sisters over the weekend. Then last night I had dinner with some good friends (Amber, Eva, Donnie, Tanna & Alisa). They surprised me with some gifts for the new baby-that really meant a lot to me. I am so blessed with such good friends & family!! Thanks girls!!! So I haven't posted any recent pictures of my kids-I am really bad at taking pictures. I need to be like Amber K. & take my camera with my everywhere! But, knowing me I would probably loose it! But, here is one picture that is kind of recent.....I love my boys!!
