Elder Stauffer

My brother Scott has been gone on his MISSION for 1 full day now....lets see how many more to go??? Too many to count! Our family had a wonderful, busy, tear filled week. He gave a beautiful talk on the atonement on Sunday. Then we all got together for a big, family dinner. Lots of good food & good company. Oh by the way, SCOTT got called to the LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY mission. Amy & Grant live in Lexington (which is really close to Louisville), so it would be so fun if they ran in to him! Here are some pictures of my sweet bro: He is such a goof ball...but boy has he turned in to a handsome young man!!

Conner Time

This last week has been completely crazy...after 2 visits to the Dr....and 4 prescriptions later we are all healthy(I am totally knocking on wood right now, I can't believe I even said that out loud). Brody had double ear infections, Carter had double swimmers ear & an inner ear infection....and since that wasn't enough all the boys got PINK EYE..lovely. Thank goodness for modern medicine.

But the highlight of the past few weeks is that CONNER has been in TOWN. Caleb LOVES Conner...anything Conner likes, Caleb likes too. He has been in absolute heaven hanging out with Conner & going to the farm with Papa & Carter. We even had Conner spend the night twice. I am sad I didn't take more pics....but here are the few I did take:

Bee Stings & Tissue Paper

Part of our daily ROUTINE is to go swimming every morning at 10:00 am, while Brody & Brinkley are sleeping. This gets the boys out of the house & away from the TV. Carter was jumping off the waterfall, floaties and all (even though he doesn't need them), when he started SCREAMING. I thought he said an ANT was on him, turns out it was a BEE & it stung him twice in the foot. So that makes 3, three times he has been stung by a bee this week. Ouch!
He screamed like he was dying for a couple minutes, then he was fine. What a tough boy!
Later on that afternoon everything was QUIET, too QUIET & every mom with a toddler knows that is not good. I bounded upstairs to find this:
Brody had found my stash of tissue paper hidden under my bed.
He was having a blast.
When he saw me taking pics of him, he had to run over to try & grab the camera, yikes!
