New Do'

About a week ago Layne & I decided it was time for the boys to get hair cut. And what better hair cut to have in the summer than a buzz? Here is the before: And the after. They both have the same calic on the right hand side, what cuties!

HB Scott

Today is my oldest, youngest, brother Scott's 21st b-day! I am so lucky to have a brother like Scott. He can FIX anything...he is such a handy man. He loves my kids & is the best UNCLE. He is always willing to help us out by babysitting the boys & my boys LOVE him. I know when ever I need a favor, I can call him & he won't let me down.
For his b-day, we surprised him with front row Suns tickets. We had asked him to come over & BABYSIT so Layne & I could go to the game....then he came over & of course we had to tease him a little. We asked him to fold some clothes & clean the kitchen...he wasn't too happy about that. Then we told him he was really going to the game, he was so excited.
He is an inspiration to me & is so very spiritual. He has a lot of INTEGRITY and always does the right thing. Not to mention he always is in a good mood, and likes to tease(see him in the background?)!
HAPPY B-DAY SCOTT...we love you....even when you cry about no posts!! lol

All things girl

Last week I went to my Dr's appt for another ultrasound....and yes, its still a girl! YEAH!! I still haven't bought any girl clothes yet....as soon as I can find the TIME to go shopping I think I will. I have been trying to decorate her room slowly over the last couple of months. I LOVE this little girl bedding I found online. Of course it was like $750.00, ouch! Barbie & I went to Joanne's, so she is going to help me create something sort of similar...stay tuned! This picture below is the inspiration for the paint.
Here is a pic of her room after it was painted. I really like black & white toile with accents of hot pink....so we did a hot pink stripe....not too straight, kind of whimsical. I have bought some black furniture off Craigslist....I still have a lot to do & hopefully I can get it done before the baby gets here!

Cousin Time, Party Time!

So I am excited that I FOOLED some of you with my April Fool's post, pathetic, I know. But, I was so proud of myself! Although there is a partial truth to the post. Layne did get a new job with Silver Creek Construction. But, he is not opening up a chapter of the business in NY, but in AZ. We feel so blessed for the new opportunity!!!

Amy, & Grant & the kids flew in to town this past week. George took all the BROTHERS to 3 March Madness BASKETBALL games...then Grant had to fly back home for work after the weekend was over (sad face). But, Amy & the kids stayed for 2 weeks. Time FLEW way too fast while they were here! It was one giant PARTY every day.

My kids were so excited to see their COUSINS. I heard the aerosol hairspray can going crazy before Conner & Noah were coming over to SPEND the NIGHT....I rushed in to the bathroom expecting to see hair spray all over the mirror....but my boys were COMBING their own hair. Don't you love the MOHAWKS??? (you should have seen the back of their heads)

Finally, the cousins ARRIVED & Carter & Noah were a bit SHY. I tried to get them to HUG for the picture, this was as close as they got.
Then we took the BOYS to PETER PIPER PIZZA.
They warmed up to each other real fast. Caleb & Conner are best buds.

Another fun adventure with the cousins was going to Val Vista Lakes Club house...maybe next time I won't be HUGE and PREGO & then I can sport a swim suit.

My boys had a blast with their cousins. Carter keeps asking "Where is Noah??". Poor guy, doesn't really understand. But, we can't wait until they come AGAIN!!!

Seasons

Well with the weather warming up, that means winter is turning in to Spring, and with that comes lots of changes. The flowers are blooming, the grass is green, new leaves are sprouting on the once dormant trees. Well....things are changing here at the Peterson's house, too.

We have not told any one yet & I thought I would inform everyone at the same time. Layne has accepted a new job with Silver Creek Homes. They build multi-million dollar homes & they want to open up a chapter back east. Guess who is in charge of that??? Layne!! So to put it bluntly, Layne & I will be moving to NEW YORK at the end of JUNE!! AHHHHH.....I HATE the cold, but I am trying to have a positive attitude!!! Crazy!!!! Boxes anyone???
