I just love to hear the laughter of my kids....Layne was making Brody laugh extra hard tonight. So I decided to take a quick clip of it......
I am still surviving.....it seems to get harder each day, I already feel like I am 8 months along. But I can do HARD things, right(thats what I have to tell myself)??? We are trying to decide when to put Brody in a 'big boy bed'. Is 13 months too young for a big bed???? Do I really want two cribs? We put Carter in a normal bed at 18 months, what do you think...help I need some advice!

That video is so cute, I love hearing a baby laugh and why is it everytime I see layne he looks skinnier? Not that he was fat before....you know what I mean. a big boy bed at 13 months scares the heck out of me. I just put lucas is a reg. bed and he's 22 months, it hasn't been perfect but oh well. Maybe you should put Brody in a port-a-crib like a month before the babe arrives until he's 18months or older. I wouldn't want 2 cribs either. I don't know girl, that's what I'd do. Good luck! I already look like I could be due any day.
Two cribs is no big deal. You dont want him getting out of bed and falling down the stairs.... I loved the video my cute little Brode mister. two cute guys!!! xo mom
That video is priceless...Brody is so cute (I think he looks like Carter). I think that I would NEVER want a 13 month old in a big bed..nightmare! I would much rather have 2 cribs...maybe you can borrow one from someone??? Thats what I did when Ben was born than it was no pressure to move Samantha...much easier!

Don't do two cribs. Not worth it. Just put the baby in a play pen/port-a-crib or bassinet until Brody is ready for a big bed. Don't take him out of the crib yet either. I think he's way too little. By the way, how much pink have you bought?
What an angel!!!! Brody is so stinkin' cute :) Gotta love those sweet baby laughs...there is nothing better!!
Not that you know me or anything, but they have Toddler beds, they are reasonably priced, and low to the ground,same size mattress as a crib mattress. My grandkids used them until they were old enough to transition into a bigger twin bed....check out the toddler beds I think you will enjoy that choice the best!!
Developmentally they say kids are not ready for a big kid bed until 3because they do not understand that invisible barrier yet. I know I have had a heck of a time with Tate in a toddler bed and I remember Macey waking up screaming when she went to a big bed before that. I think some kids end up being fine but I actually bought a 2nd crib off of Craigs list even though I probably would have been fine with the packnplay for that overlap time. I would just go with a crib that would convert to a head board that you would use later for your little girl! Layne is such a great daddy to those boys, but wait until you see him with his girl:-)
Cutest moment on video, love it! About the crib: Depends on if he likes his crib! If he does...KEEP HIM IN AND GET ANOTHER ONE!!! Hang in there...if I did it, so can you...you are a WAY BETTER Mom than me!
Layne is such a good daddy! Ask him next time he babysits the boys if I can drop one more off and we can have girls night. LOL! I can't even imagine putting JD in a big boy bed yet. Your gonna need 2 cribs. LOL! That will be cute right next to each other!!
Katie...I didnt take my kids to the Reflections of Christ because Benson and I went to a sealing beforehand so we didn't have our kids but people were there with their kids and I want to bring my kids back.
We had a Family Night with the LeSueurs and we were wishing you guys were there...so lets plan another one.

you will put baby girl in a basinette for a while right....so you can wait a little while longer till you put brody in a big bed. mine are usually in a big bed by 18 months as well. and they've all seemed to adjust great. hang in there girl....one day at a time!
so cute. it always melts my heart to hear babies laughing and having fun with their daddies. I think I would wait till brody is AT LEAST 18 months. I know I am going to keep conner in his crib as long as he will allow me to. hehe. (he is 16 months now)hey bout the cabin- not to worry, the people who backed out on us in the first place are now going again, and so it's just going to be me and my sisters in law and my mother in law. crazy ridicuklous long story -so hey no worries.
That video is soo cute! Brody is one happy little man!! I can't believe he is going to be a big brother soon! My opinion would be to keep 2 cribs. I just think it would be easier that way. You could get a cute, new girly crib!!
Oh Katie! What a cute video! I love childrens laughter too! I wish I could bottle it up, and listen to it when I'm sad. Brody is a baby still, I would keep him in a crib. Two cribs is No biggie! My mom did it with Brittany and I. I put Kyler in a big boy bed when he was 19 months, and it was perfect. Good luck with your decision! He is such a cute little boy!!!!
K- where is your familt picture at the top of teh page taken at? I have seen that in other pictures and I think it is a cool background.
Good luck with the big boy bed - other than potty training, that was the hardest thing for me....but now I love it. Looking back I wish we would have put Brodie in it before Griffen was born, would have been alot easier.
This is so cute! I love when dads play with the kids and get them to laugh. I can never get it on camera!
Also, I would do 2 cribs...can you borrow one from someone???
