I brought Brinkley home from the hospital on Thursday afternoon. My brother Scott was going through the temple at the same time (I was bummed I couldn't be there) so Layne was there supporting him. I couldn't wait to get her out of the hospital, so I decided to bring her home myself. The boys are so excited to FINALLY have their baby sister here.
Caleb loves to hold her and kiss her. Caleb & Carter woke up this morning & came in to my room & didn't want to leave because Brinkley was in there.
Carter has been asking the funniest questions. He wants to know "How did the baby come out of your belly?" and "When is grandma going to have a baby?" and "Why is your tummy still big?" He is so innocent & sweet...he is a crack up, I just love him!
My grandparents were down to support Scott, so it was fun they got to see Brinkley.
I think I got one hour of sleep last night...we will see what tonight brings!!

Those pictures of the boys holding Brinkley are sooo cute!! Caleb is such a big helper and Carters questions crack me up!!! They are going to be such good little big brothers to her!! That is a great picture of Grandma and Grandpa too!

I am so glad Brinkley is home and doing better. Your boys look so proud to be older brothers. I still can't get over that you now have 4 kids...I have a lot of catching up to do. Please let me know if I can come take the boys from you sometime or if I can do anything else.

Katie she is so beautiful! She is going to look more like you I think and I love that your boys love her....pitty the fool who tries to date her with 3 older brothers? Yah right, she is going to be so well rounded with you as her mom and 3 brothers to teach her the ropes. I was thinking about you last night as I was awake with violet who decided that she didn't want to go back to sleep at 3:30am. It made me feel better knowing that you were probably up feeding as well. I'm so glad she's home!

Katie they are soo cute with her! How are you feeling? Just take it one day at a time! I wish I lived closer so I could help you out! Just watch your baby blues, I didn't get them with my boys, but I got them with Katelyn. I don't know if it's a girl thing or not, but it lasted about 2 weeks and then I started feeling better. You are going to have soo much fun with her!

Ok Katie...she is beautiful! Your family is just absolutely adorable! I love it! You will be extremely busy for the next few years, but you will enjoy it...I promise. You're a great Mom. Before you know it, you and Layne will be taking off on Dates EVERY NIGHT like Mark and I while the kids watch themselves...seriously, it's worth the years of sacrafice and dirty diapers!
