For FHE tonight we decided it was time to carve our pumpkin. The boys were sooo excited, especially Carter. He was running around the house, or shall I say bouncing off the walls, just happy and excited.What joy is gives me as a mom to see my boys get so happy about the smallest, and simplest things. I love my kids, or all children for that matter, because they are filled with such happiness, joy & light. Life is so simple to them-the way it should be.
Here they are getting their hands all "slimy".
Here is a pic of me (I know, I am a poser, what can I say). I toasted the pumpkin seeds like my mom used to do....I remember them tasting A LOT better back when I was a kid, maybe because I knew that trick or treating was not very far away.....but they sure smelt good.
The finished product.....we LOVE HALLOWEEN!

I must have missed you, I showed up in my costume as "the lame sister who was late and didn't wear a costume". Aren't you sad you missed that! Next year.
What a fun FHE. I bet the boys were in heaven. You are such a good mom they are so lucky to have you. I loved the picture of you posing. You look great.

What great fun. We didnt really do BIG pumkins this year. We did however go to the pumpkin patch and got a little pumpkin and Coltin got to decorate it, but it was left in my sisters car and 2 weeks later we still dont have it back from her. How rude. Coltin asks me every day if he can get his punkin/ Your family is so cute. gotta love pumkin seeds
We were suppose to do that also for FHE but had a change of plans. So we are doing it tonight.
How Fun! It is so true about kids...they LOVE the simplest things and everything is a wonder to them...so sweet! Love the pics, your family is adorable!
LOL-total poser! Love the propped leg. We did pumpkin carving last night for FHE as well....I forgot how much I hate gutting them. My kids loved it though, which it worth it.
