A Little Bit of Heaven

This past weekend we went to Showlow & stayed with our friends in their cabin. It was so much fun-we had a blast! I wasn't sure how well Brody was going to do, but he was an angel. Layne golfed all day Saturday, while the mom's & the kids went to the pool. Of course I forgot my swimsuit-so we didn't stay at the pool for very long (much to my boy's dismay). It was a big chore trying to feed Brody, keep the sun off of his face, keep one eye on Carter & the other on Caleb all while I was fully dressed & sweating! We went on a 'treasure hike' to find some treasures the boys could take home. Caleb found a stick & Carter found a rock....its amazing the simple things that keep kids happy.

Katie, I don't know how you do it, updating your blog so often. I wish I could be more like you in every way. You crack me up, I could just see you sweating at the pool, feeding Brody and trying to watch the other two! I think you girls need to take a weekend and come up to Bosie! We would have soo much fun.

I'm with ya on the craziness at the pool with three little ones! I'm so glad you got that book! It is great information and great to read when I have one of those "Crazy Mom" days and need a reminder on why we do things the way we do:)

Wow Katie, it's been a long time. I found this blog through Melissa Mile's blog, and her's through Jen Beals. You have a beautiful family. I have 2 boys myself. Boston 2 1/2 and Rendon 8 weeks. I was cracking up at your experiance by the pool with your boys, I am now having my first time experiances with that. You look really great and it's nice that I now have found a way to see old friends and their families.

With love,
Cassie (Stark) Ross

Looking at your pics makes me want to get in the car and drive up there, it is so beautiful! I love the one of you and Caleb, your oldest boy...right? The woods is a perfect place to go with all your boys. Sticks, dirt, rocks = Boy Heaven!

I love Caleb! He is getting soo big! I've been so sad now that Nixon has started all-day kinder. I probably miss him more than he misses me!:) Don't worry about Caleb too much, he will have so much fun at school. Nixon begs me to let him ride the bus...but his school doesn't even have buses!
